Aussie Overlander regrettably advises that we will no longer be operating our mainland tours.

We will continue to make trips available in Tasmania by request so please do get in touch if you're considering hopping over to Tassie for a wilderness adventure.

Unfortunately our mainland season for 2020 and 2021 had to be cancelled due to government restrictions relating to the Covid-19 virus outbreak. All those who had bookings affected have been contacted directly.

I don't know when, or even if I'll ever be in a position to resume running Aussie Overlander's mainland expeditions in WA, NT, QLD & SA. The past two years have been a very hard hit to our core business and a lot's had to change in order to make a living. The way state governments and insurance providers continue to be inconsistent and unreliable in their approach give no confidence. There is only so much an owner operated business can take that relies on unrestricted open borders and free movement. The time has come that little choice has been given other than to close down our operation on the mainland.

For more details on how Covid-19 has affected our operation please click here to see a letter detailing this.

Each year we publish a select offering of trips made available to book here. In addition to these trips we offer a vast array of customised trips that work for individual small groups rather than an "off the shelf" offering.... So please get in touch, let us know what you're looking to achieve and we'll customise a trip to suit.

All our trips are offered in a seasonal period which is applicable in regions travelled and therefore we are restricted in the quantity of trips offered each year. We will however add additional or new trips where possible so if your looking for something different please drop us a line or check back in regularly to see what other trips we'll be offering.

This trip has been constructed with the intention of getting away from the main visited areas of Kimberley and into the far Northern Kimberley region. It’s Ideally suited to those that have explored the Kimberley with Aussie Overlander before on our 11 Day Kimberley Explorer.

This trip will be run in an exploratory style; so whilst we have a basic itinerary outlining our intention with key points of interest; we have also built in time to explore, absorb and relax around other lesser known points of interest.
